What we collect
When you plan a trip with us, we collect the information you provide: your trip preferences (destination, dates, party size and ages, budget, parks, lodging preference, interests, occasion), your contact details (name, email, phone if provided), and anything you type into the planning chat. We also generate planning content (notes, trip visions, itineraries) based on your answers.
How we use it
One purpose only: planning your trip. Your information is used to generate your itinerary, to connect you with a human Disney-specialist travel agent, and to contact you about the trip you requested. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who processes it
We use a small set of service providers to run this site: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Anthropic (AI processing of your trip answers and chat messages to generate planning content), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes your data only to provide their service to us. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to power the planning assistant and are handled under their privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
We keep trip submissions while your trip is being planned and for our records afterward. Want your information deleted? Email hello@magicalagent.com with your reference code and we'll remove it.
Cookies and analytics
We use browser session storage to keep your in-progress trip plan on your device. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, general location, device type); it sets cookies and processes usage data under Google's privacy policy. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.
Children
Our service is for adults planning family trips. We do not knowingly collect information from children; kids' ages entered by a parent are used only to tailor the trip plan.
